Wound care dressings to treat and heal all types of wounds. Skin Scripts Non-Adhesive Foam Dressings are indicated for the treatment of moderate to heavily exudating superficial or deep wounds to assist in protecting the wound, preventing bacterial contamination and skin maceration.
The flexibility of foam dressings allows for a wide variety of clinical applications . The foam dressing can be easily cut with a sterile scissors to fit irregular wound areas, they are a good dressing choice for various wound type.
Foam layer of super-absorbent fibre which is effective in regulating wound exudate for an ideal moist wound environment and accelerate the wound healing.

Non Adhesive Foam Dressing
Road to Faster Wound Healing. Wound care dressings to treat and heal all types of wounds. PU foam is waterproof but vapour permeable, it protects from bacteria. Does not stick on wound when changing the dressing, reduced pain. Soft, comfortable, can also be used as wound pad for fragile skin.

Application procedure
Put on gloves. Clean the wound area with wound cleansing solution.
Dry the skin around the wound with sterile gauze.
Apply a foam dressing which extends a minimum of 2 cm beyond the edges of the wound.
If the dressing does not have an adhesive border, you will have to apply a secondary dressing or use bandage or tape to hold it in place.
When changing the dressing, peel off the foam dressing carefully, clean the wound and apply a new foam dressing.
